Handspun white cotton, plain weave with cording. Panels joined with red 'randa' work. Below neck opening, on front and back, a block of brocaded geometrical designs in red. All over garment are brocaded multi-coloured cross bands of prancing animals (squirrels?), birds and floral designs. On shoulders are brocaded bands of geometrical designs, predominantly red. The circular neck opening has finish of magenta satin ribbon, cut in star shape. Provenience: Metlatonoc, Gro.
